School Nurse

Hello fellow nurses!

I hope everyone is well! It’s a crazy time right now and we pray it gets better soon. On July 1, 2020, an email was sent with an update on EpiPen’s and prescriptions. If you did not receive an email, please contact the office.

I have contacted Epipen4schools program and it is a GO! I apologize for not getting the new school year prescription to you earlier. I have included prescriptions for Epipen, Adrenaclick, and Auvi-Q.

JUST FYI - We are using tele-medicine for office visits and parents can come by the office to pick up Asthma/Food Allergy Forms.

I am not sure if Auvi-Q still has a program for schools. I included Adrenaclick because a school found it to be cheaper last year.

Please call the office with question, 409-892-7090. Please ask for Lydia/Shontell RN.

Thank you, Family Allergy & Asthma Center
